On the MOQC website, you can find details on initiatives, meetings, resources, and so much more. The website is continually being improved and updated.
Under the Patients and Caregivers tab, you can learn more about our Patient and Caregiver Quality Council (POQC). You can also find the patient and caregiver resources search engine there, recently developed and launched by POQC. That search engine was featured at last June’s Medical Oncology Biannual Meeting and allows patients, caregivers, and clinical staff the option of filtering resources to look for specific topics of interest within cancer care. The Patient and Caregiver tab will continue to spotlight patient and caregiver facing resources as they are developed.
Other additions to the website include a language toggle to help make the website more accessible to all Michigan residents. As a reminder, MOQC-created resources have also been translated into the four most commonly spoken languages in Michigan: Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, and Vietnamese. Those resources can be downloaded or printed free of charge on MOQC’s Printed Resources page.
Abstractors! Look for new educational videos on each of MOQC’s measures. Those videos will be included under the Abstraction tab and will be published shortly.
