Bariatric Surgery Collaborative Summit

In addition to the Collaboratory, MOQC attended the Michigan Bariatric Surgery Collaborative Summit in September. The Michigan Bariatric Surgery Collaborative is another Collaborative Quality Initiative that aims to innovate the science and practice of metabolic and bariatric surgery through comprehensive, lifelong, patient-centered obesity care. MOQC met with attendees that included representatives from POs across the state such as administrators, physicians, allied health, bariatric surgeons, BCBSM staff and more. In addition to the poster described above and information on MOQC, MOQC presented resources on body mass index, intuitive eating, general nutrition, and food security.
