Dr. Christopher Friese, Professor of Nursing and Director of Patient-Reported Outcomes for MOQC, has been appointed Vice Provost for Academic and Faculty Affairs at the University of Michigan. He will oversee faculty affairs, policies, and initiatives for 13 of Michigan’s schools and colleges while maintaining a partial faculty appointment in the School of Nursing. Given his new responsibilities, he will step down as director of PROs as of September 1, 2024. From Dr. Friese, “Helping launch the PROs initiative at MOQC has been a capstone of my career as an oncology nurse scientist. Together, we developed a feasible and robust system to collect data directly from our patients and built a platform to share those results with practices. I am grateful for our tremendous team who will continue this important work and the broader MOQC community for their engagement and support.” To learn more about the MOQC PROs initiative, please contact Shayna Weiner at sweiner@moqc.org.
