MOQC Palliative Care and End-of-Life Task Force

The MOQC Palliative Care and End-of-Life Task Force is a multidisciplinary group committed to advancing palliative and end-of-life care across Michigan. Its members include clinicians, hospice and palliative care specialists, POQC representatives, and administrators, all working together to improve patient outcomes and expand access to high-quality, compassionate care.

Meeting quarterly, the task force develops practical resources, reviews quality improvement measures and initiatives, and shares updates on new publications and developments in the field. It also supports MOQC in designing and implementing meaningful projects, such as the CAPC MOQC Palliative Care Certificate Program, an educational initiative that equips clinicians with foundational knowledge in primary palliative care and prepares them to serve as key resources within their practices.
