MOQC Centering Equity Task Force
The MOQC Centering Equity Task Force is a dedicated group of oncology professionals, pharmacists, administrative leaders, community advocates, patients, and caregivers, all united by the goal of ensuring equitable cancer care. The Task Force meets virtually about once a month.
Beginning in 2024, the group met to identify challenges, propose solutions, and promote change that will allow individuals from all backgrounds to achieve the best possible oncology health outcomes. Their work will continue to evolve with the goal of creating a lasting framework for equitable oncology care, where health equity is the standard and not the exception.
MOQC Equity Strategic Plan
The Centering Equity Task Force has developed a 3-year strategic plan focused on advancing equitable and inclusive care, prioritizing patient and caregiver perspectives, and addressing disparities through community-driven approaches. Progress toward these goals will be tracked annually, with a focus on implementing new initiatives outlined in the plan. The Equity Task Force will lead these efforts, ensuring that the initiatives are effectively integrated across practices to enhance patient care and equity.
